{"id":36509,"date":"2026-07-22T16:54:56","date_gmt":"2026-07-22T14:54:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pittini.it\/?post_type=blog&#038;p=36509"},"modified":"2026-07-22T16:57:45","modified_gmt":"2026-07-22T14:57:45","slug":"buccino-speeds-towards-the-future-pittini-steel-in-the-new-railway-line","status":"publish","type":"blog","link":"https:\/\/www.pittini.it\/en\/blog\/buccino-speeds-towards-the-future-pittini-steel-in-the-new-railway-line\/","title":{"rendered":"Buccino speeds towards the future: Pittini steel in the new railway line"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>Buccino area, in the province of Salerno<\/strong>, forms part of Lot 1A (Battipaglia-Romagnano) of the <strong>new Salerno-Reggio Calabria<\/strong> high-speed rail line, a project designed to strengthen connections along the north-south rail corridor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The works involve upgrading the railway <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pittini.it\/en\/applications\/infrastructure\/\">infrastructure<\/a> and associated facilities, with the aim of increasing the line&#8217;s capacity, improving access to the region and helping to reduce journey times between central and southern Italy.<\/p>\n<h2>Pittini steel at the service of the project<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Around 1,400 tonnes of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pittini.com\/en\/products\/building-sector\/jumbo-coils\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jumbo<span data-contrast=\"auto\"><strong><sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong><\/span><\/a> and Pittini <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pittini.com\/en\/products\/building-sector\/rebars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">steel bars<\/a> are being used in the construction of the works; these materials are designed to meet the high standards required for major infrastructure projects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The construction site, managed by <a href=\"https:\/\/ediltrans.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ediltrans<\/a>, has been supplied via the Pittini Group&#8217;s integrated supply chain: the reinforcing bars come from <strong>Siderpotenza<\/strong>, whilst the coiled steel was supplied by <strong>Ferriere Nord<\/strong>. The <strong>Ceprano Distribution Centre<\/strong> played a key role, <strong>ensuring rapid deliveries and a constant supply of products<\/strong> thanks to its large warehouse and proximity to the construction site, thereby guaranteeing the continuity of operational activities.<\/p>\n<h2>Infrastructure that creates value<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>project represents a strategic investment<\/strong> for the region, designed to improve transport links and connectivity within the area.<br \/>\nBy supplying steel and providing logistical support to the construction sites, Pittini is contributing to the construction of projects that promote infrastructure development and the competitiveness of the national rail network.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":36510,"template":"","class_list":["post-36509","blog","type-blog","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.1 -
