How did you hear about the Steel Training project and why did you apply? <\/strong><\/h2>\n

I found out about the project through the school and, in particular, thanks to one of our teachers<\/strong> who was familiar with and had contacts with the Potenza plant.
\nI applied because, as a new graduate, I didn’t feel ready for the world of work and I thought a course that included theoretical study, practice, and working experience<\/strong> was perfect for me. In addition, having already completed three years of work experience at Siderpotenza, I was aware of the Group’s reputation.<\/p>\n

How important is practical training in the workplace? <\/strong><\/h2>\n

In my opinion, this is very important, because it allows you to work out concepts faster than in pure theory. Much is understood only when you experience it for yourself. The practical work, supported by a tutor who supports you step by step and directly shares with you the ‘secrets of the trade’ regarding the task at hand, makes the course and the lessons become extremely valuable. This is exactly what happened in the Steel Training project<\/a>. I have found that I know more, have improved my skills, and have a different approach to problem-solving than before.<\/p>\n

Being the first professional experience of my life, the path I took allowed me to learn a job and many other interesting things. I am really grateful to the school and the team for giving me this opportunity.<\/p>\n

What makes working in the Pittini Group interesting<\/strong>?<\/h2>\n

I have been working in the Verona plant for about a year and a half now. Being able to work in a latest-generation rolling mill, I really understand how much the steel world has changed, both from the point of view of the activities themselves and also concerning safety. I am a shift mechanic and I particularly like the variety of my work: the tasks are never the same and you have to find ways to solve different problems that cause line stoppages.
