Siderpotenza

Siderpotenza, whose steel facilities were founded in 1963, has been part of the Pittini Group since 2002. The production site includes an electric steel mill and rolling mill for reinforcing bars for concrete.

The hot rolled steel bars meet the quality standards required by Italian and international regulations. Siderpotenza implements the “Zero Waste” project to recover and make the most of waste deriving from the manufacture and processing of steel, from which it obtains Granella®; a product used for road surfaces.

Green Steel is a project that the Pittini Group started in 2019, providing a series of measures with a common denominator: to protect the environment through the implementation of innovative technologies.

The high quality standards of the products supplied by the Pittini Group are obtained through planned and permanently controlled manufacturing steps. Pittini steel is subject to stringent tests and checks of chemical, mechanical and technological properties made at its laboratories to ensure full reliability and compliance with the requirements of the applications they are intended for as well as with national and international standards in force.

The Siderpotenza S.p.A Quality Management System complies with UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standards and is certified by the IGQ accredited body. Product quality is acknowledged thanks to the many certifications issued at a national and European level by official control and certification bodies. The company has also obtained the UNI EN ISO 14001: 2015 and UNI EN ISO 14021 certifications for its management systems and certificate of compliance with Regulation (EU) 333/2011.
